US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley expressed solidarity with the people affected by the devastating floods in Kerala.
In a message on Twitter on behalf of the American Mission in the United States, Haley said, "Our senses are towards our Indian brothers and sisters in Kerala who have been affected by the worst monsoon and floods in nearly 100 years. We make special prayers for the people of the region and all the families who have lost their loved ones. "
Adani Foundation's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) cell, Adani Foundation has said that Rs 50 crore has been given for relief and rehabilitation of flood victims in Kerala. The company will provide immediate relief of Rs 25 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund and thereafter will be given a similar amount for rehabilitation and reconstruction. Meanwhile, Honda group companies have donated Rs 3 crore for flood relief operations in Kerala with their employees.

BJP MP Udit Raj has advised that 'gold and money' can be used in the three major temples of the region to help the people of Kerala, devastated by floods last month. He said that Padmanabha, Sabarimala, Guruvayur have more than one lakh crores of gold and money and the funds required to compensate for the loss of Rs. 21 thousand crores are much less than the properties of these temples. What else can be used like this kind of money? People are dying and are in misery.
