Fastag- Pay Toll Online
Fastag is mandatory on all vehicles passing through national highways from December 15 onwards. The objective behind this is to reduce congestion on toll plazas and tackle the problem of traffic jams.
It is an automated toll collection technique in which toll tax will be automatically deducted from your account and you will get rid of the long line at the toll plaza. Let us know in detail what Fastag is and how it works.
Fasatag
Fastag is a facility launched by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which is powered by radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. It has a bar code placed on the windscreen in front of any vechile like car, truck etc. and as soon as you reach the toll plaza, the toll scanner scans your bar code and deducts money from your account and you don,t need to waste time on paying cash or change. They cross the toll and proceed on their ropes.
