Poorness one such circumstance in which people live with basic needs of life like insufficient food, clothes, and roof. Most people in the world cannot properly afford food, they sleep on the roadside and wear dirty clothes. 

They do not get proper healthy nutrition, medicine, and other things. Due to the increase in no of people in an urban area, poverty has increased in an urban area. People from rural areas are migrating to cities for job, career, and money related activities to live a better life. Nearly 8 crore peoples earn below the poverty line and 45 million urban people are on the threshold. Most people living in slums are uneducated. Nevertheless, some steps being taken but there is no satisfactory result in terms of reducing poverty.

Reasons for poverty

The main factor of poverty in India is increasing population, weak agriculture, corruption, old practices, big gap between rich and poor, unemployment, illiteracy, infectious diseases etc. A large part of the population, which is poor depends on agriculture for their livelihood and that's the cause of poverty. Generally, because of bad agriculture and unemployment, people have to struggle with food shortage. In India, a growing population is also the cause of poverty. A large population means more food, money and home needs. Due to the shortage of basic facilities, poverty is fast approaching. There is a widened gap between rich and poor.

Effects of poverty:

Poverty affects people in many ways. Poverty has so many effects, such as illiteracy, unsafe diet, and nutrition, child labor, poor house, quality of life, quality of unemployment, poor sanitation, excessive poverty among women, etc. The gap between the poor and the rich is increasing, the main reason for this is money. This is the reason why the country leads to the category of undeveloped countries. Due to poverty children have to go to work at the age of reading and learning, they are forced to work on fewer wages instead of going to school for the financial help of his family.

Here are some of the following effects of poverty:

Illiteracy: Due to lack of money, most people do not get a good education, poverty reduces people to get proper education due to lack of money.

Nutrition and balanced diet: Due to poverty there is an unavailability of a balanced diet and inadequate availability of adequate nutrition which brings more dangerous and infectious diseases.

Child Labor: Child Labour leads to illiteracy because at large levels the future of the country becomes very involved in child labor at a very early age.

Unemployment: There is unemployment that's why there is poverty. Unemployment creates a shortage of money which affects the common life of the people. This forces people to live their lives in the opposite of their will.

Social anxiety: The main reason for social anxiety is the huge difference in income between the rich and the poor.

Home Problems: Homelessness is also a big problem, it creates a bad situation for living on the sidewalk, on the side of the road, in other open spaces, living in a room with many people.

Diseases: Poor people suffer from various infectious diseases because people without money can not maintain clean hygiene and cleanliness. Can not afford the doctor's fees expenses for proper treatment of any disease.

Poorness in Female Affluence: Due to sexual inequality, affects women's lives at large and they are deprived of proper diet, nutrition, and medication and treatment facilities.

Solution to remove poverty from the root

It is very necessary to solve the problem of poverty on a root basis for the goodness of humanity on this planet. Some solutions that can play a bigger role in solving the problem of poverty are as follows:

In addition to making profitable, farmers should get proper and necessary facilities for good farming.

Adults who are not educated should be given the necessary training for the betterment of life.

People should always follow family planning, to control over an increase in population and poverty

To abolish poverty, corruption should be eliminated from the whole world.

Every child should go to school and get a complete education.

There should be a way of employment where people of all classes can work together.

Poverty is not only a problem of people who are suffering from this, but it is also a national problem. It should be resolved by implementing some effective methods on a quick basis. Several steps were taken by the government to remove poverty but no clear results were shown. It is very important to remove poverty from the country, people, economy, society and the ever-increasing and inclusive growth of the country. It is very important for each person to unite to eliminate poverty.
