Kali Ghat Temple

Kali Ghat Temple one of the famous temples of Kolkata dedicated to Mata Kali Devi. This temple is considered to be one of the 51 Shakti Benches of India. The temple is about 200 years old. Mother Kali's face is built of black stones. In this statue, the deity has three eyes and her tongue is out of the mouth. Tongue, teeth, and hands are covered with gold. Repairing and caretaking of the statue in this Shaktipeeth are done by Kamdev Brahmachari (formerly known as Jia Gangopadhyay). A large crowd of devotees can be seen at the Kali Ghat temple every day, located in the mediator of the City of Joy.

Ashtami is worshiped especially with Tuesday and Saturday, and the devotees are present in large number for darshan.
This temple is open from 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. In the middle of the afternoon, this temple is closed for the visitor and devotee from 2 to 5 .m. In this period enjoyment is done. Mangala Aarti of the goddess is at 4 am, but the temple for the devotees is opened at 5 o'clock.

Calcutta Jain Temple:

The Calcutta Jain Temple is also known as Vishwanath Temple. This temple was built by Jain Rai Badridas Bahadur Mukim in 1867. The Pratistha was done by Shri Kalyanurishwarji Maharaj. The temple is devoted to Vishwanath, which was 23rd Jain Tirthankar, it is one of the most important Jain temples in Kolkata. Jain devotees from all over India come here to see this temple.
Agni Temple
The Agni Temple, a center of Parsi traditions in Kolkata. This temple is dedicated to Agni Dev, which was constructed in the year 1912. Here you can see the holy image of the flame burning on the first floor of the temple.
