Kali Ghat Temple

Kali Ghat Temple one of the famous temples of Kolkata dedicated to Mata Kali Devi. This temple is considered to be one of the 51 Shakti Benches of India. The temple is about 200 years old. Mother Kali's face is built of black stones. In this statue, the deity has three eyes and her tongue is out of the mouth. Tongue, teeth, and hands are covered with gold.  Repairing and caretaking of the statue in this Shaktipeeth are done by Kamdev Brahmachari (formerly known as Jia Gangopadhyay). A large crowd of devotees can be seen at the Kali Ghat temple every day, located in the mediator of the City of Joy.

Temple Time Table:

Ashtami is worshiped especially with Tuesday and Saturday, and the devotees are present in large number for darshan.

This temple is open from 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. In the middle of the afternoon, this temple is closed for the visitor and devotee from 2 to 5 .m. In this period enjoyment is done. Mangala Aarti of the goddess is at 4 am, but the temple for the devotees is opened at 5 o'clock.

Daily worship: 5:30 am to 7:00 am

Bhogh Raga: 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Evening Aarti: 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm

 Calcutta Jain Temple:

The Calcutta Jain Temple is also known as  Vishwanath Temple. This temple was built by Jain Rai Badridas Bahadur Mukim in 1867. The Pratistha was done by Shri Kalyanurishwarji Maharaj. The temple is devoted to Vishwanath, which was 23rd Jain Tirthankar, it is one of the most important Jain temples in Kolkata. Jain devotees from all over India come here to see this temple.

Agni Temple

The Agni Temple, a center of Parsi traditions in Kolkata. This temple is dedicated to Agni Dev, which was constructed in the year 1912. Here you can see the holy image of the flame burning on the first floor of the temple.

Lake Kalibari

The Lake Kalibari is a Goddess Kali Mandir was established in 1949, In this temple, the other form of Goddess Kali is worshiped as Karanasamayi. The official name of this temple is Sri Sri 108 Karumanoyi Kalimata Temple but among the people, this is famous as Kalibari Lake.

Timing of the temple for visitors: 6 AM - 12.30 AM and 3.30 PM - 9 AM (Mon, Wed, Fri) 6 AM - 12.30 AM and 3.30 AM - 9.30 AM (Thurs & Sun) at 6 AM - 1 At 3.30 pm - 9.30am (Tuesday) at 6am - 1am and 3.30pm - 10.30am (Sat)

Birla temple Kolkata

This temple was built by Birla family in the year of 1996, Birla family built Birla temple to worship Lord Krishna and Radha. Here you can see the idol other Gods is also worshiped in this temple. The delightful architecture of the Birla Temple is very influenced by Lingaraj Temple situated in Bhubaneswar.

Like other temples in Kolkata, the ISKCON temple one of the famous temples of Lord Krishna and Radha is also among the popular temples in Kolkata, where Lord Radha is worshiped. This temple is also known in the form of Shri Sri Radha Govinda Temple among the people. On the festival of Janmashtami, especially in this temple, you can see that the temple is full of crowds of devotees
